| Edward Fuller, son of Robert Fuller, was baptized
4 September
1575 in Redenhall, Norfolk, England.
A Puritan, Edward and his unnamed wife, immigrated to Leyden, Holland to escape religious persecution by the English government. Edward was one of the forty-one signers of the Mayflower Compact. Edward and his wife died in Plymouth after 11 January 1620/21. Governor William Bradford wrote: "Edward ffuller, and his wife dyed soon after they came ashore; but their sonne Samuel is living, and maried, and hath 4 children or more." After Samuel had been orphaned, he was brought up by his uncle, Dr. Samuel Fuller.
