Understanding the match mtDNA mutates much more slowly than Y-DNA, thus, it's possible for a perfect
match to occur within the last thirty generations. However, if two people share a
common geographical ancestry, then the likelihood of a match increases and may give the
clues needed to locating the paper trail. Patience C. Glenn was probably born in Virginia. She married Samuel Wright 1 Oct 1774 in Cumberland Co., VA. She moved to Laurens Co., where Samuel died about 1808. Her mother is thought to be Frances Harris. If a paper-trailed direct descendant on an all female Glenn or
Harris line is tested, and matches, this would help corroborate that Patience's mother was
indeed a Harris.
