Nathaniel "Nathan" Barksdale was born 1743 in Virginia and settled in Ninety-Six District, (Laurens County) South Carolina. Nathan was the son of Collier Barksdale, and the great-grandson of William Barksdale, the immigrant.1
On 2 Nov 2009, two Barksdale descendants who tested through 23andMe discovered a shared segment (.09%) on chromosome 11 through the "Family Inheritance" view. (Highlighted in light blue).
